Santa Bob looks forward to creating the perfect holiday event with you! His hours are: mornings afternoon and evening (ho-ho-ho)
Please book early in the year for best availability. Pre-Christmas weekends, especially, fill up quickly.
Appearances are tailored to your needs, ages of your guests, length, setting, number of people and performance activities.
Private parties. Santa visits your home or venue for a visit and photos. Activities like gift distribution, book-reading, sing-alongs and more can be arranged. If children are present, please allow time for Santa to visit with each child.
Civic events and corporate parties. Details to be arranged according to your needs.
Schools, daycares. Santa will gladly sit for photos and a visit with each child. Other activities can be arranged.
Retirement homes and communities. The spirit of Christmas never leaves us, and Santa and enjoys rekindling memories of Christmas past through sharing stories, singing or activities.
Photo studios. Santa enjoys working with photographers. He’s a real ham!
Drop-by visits. (Greater Olympia area only.) Santa will drop by for a surprise 20-minute porch or driveway visit with your children or grandchildren.
Christmas Eve Sneak-and-Peek. (Greater Olympia area only) Oh, such a special event! Each year, Santa makes time for a couple Christmas Eve visits as he travels the world. He arrives shortly after children are tucked in bed. Parents wake them up just long enough to see Santa arranging gifts around the tree. He leaves with the sound of bells jingling in their ears.
… and Christmas day visits. (Greater Olympia area only; limited to two per year) After a long winter’s night, Santa comes to visit your happy children and enjoy a bit of the day’s magic.
Post-Christmas visits. Christmas is a season we keep in our hearts. (We all know the “12 Days of Christmas” song! It’s really 365 days long) If your holiday party falls after Dec. 25, Santa can be booked through Jan. 6. He also does many summer and fall Santa jobs, including Christmas in July and various conferences.
Virtual visits. Occasionally a child needs a virtual visit, and he will work with you to arrange a time.
Mrs. Claus visits. Mrs. Claus sometimes tags along when she isn’t supervising the elves. She’ll help create a merry holiday experience, as well as answering those nagging questions children have!
How to book your Santa Visit

- Discuss event details. Santa will work with you to design a visit based on type of gathering, number of guests, length of visit and specific requests for activities, such as gift distribution or readings.
- Complete a booking agreement. Santa Bob will send you a booking agreement outlining your event’s details, price and time/date/place. Just check it, then sign and send it back to complete your booking.
4. Payment. To maintain the illusion of a real Santa visit, plan to pay Santa Bob with either cash or a check made out to Claus, Claus & Associates. Payment should be placed in an envelope. That way, children can be told it’s a Christmas card. Santa Bob also takes PayPal payments. Ask for details.
Prices
Charges are based on each appearance’s requirements, length of time and whether or not Mrs. Claus also appears. Visits must be paid for before or at the time of the performance unless previous arrangements have been made.
The basic charge is $150/hour for Santa; $190/hour with Mrs. Claus. However, the amount is negotiable for all-day or multi-day events, such as photo shoots and holiday fairs.
Prices also are negotiable for organizations helping those in need, especially for those helping those children who are in need or distress or who have special needs. Please call for more information.
Drop-by home or porch visits, offered only in the Greater Olympia area, cost a flat rate of $50. Visits are about 20 minutes long, just enough time to hear children’s holiday wishes and parents to take photos.
Christmas Eve Sneak-and-Peek: Visits are $200 each. Imagine your child being awoken by you and discovering Santa at their house! Visits are about 20 minutes in length and are limited to the Olympia area.
Christmas Day: Visits are $275 for a visit of a half-hour to 45 minutes; limited to Thurston County and the Centralia and Tacoma areas.
